Customs: Russia’s car imports rise 22.6% to 138,300 units Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Aug 7 (PRIME) -- Russia’s car imports increased 22.6% on the year to 138,300 vehicles in January–June, the Federal Customs Service said in a statement on Tuesday.

In monetary terms, car imports rose 13.9% to U.S. $3.43 billion in the period.

Truck imports fell 8.6% to 10,500 units worth $1.005 billion, a 15.3% rise.
